Prop Up Your Practice – The Yoga Trapeze

Many yogis incorporate blocks, blankets, bolsters, and many other props to enhance their practice. The yoga trapeze can be used in this same way, making floor poses more accessible. It can also help strengthen and stretch muscles differently, which helps you when you return to the floor without the support of this prop. Poses explored may be sitting, standing, laying, arm balances, or partial inversions. All of these poses will have contact with the ground and are commonly practiced in flow classes. Option at the end of the workshop to freely hang inverted on the trapeze, but not required. Beginner through experienced yogis will all have something to learn.
