The Sanskrit words ayur (life) and Veda (knowledge) translate Ayurveda to the “knowledge of life”. This is an elemental way of viewing your body and the changing world around you. Fire/Water/Earth/Air/Eather\, we all have our own personal blend of these elements within our body. This is called a dosha\, your constitution. In this workshop learn how to identify your dosha\, when it’s in and out of balance\, and how to bring it into balance with food\, herbs\, and lifestyle shifts. \n\n\nWhat is Ayurveda and how is it related to Yoga? \nWhat are the doshas? Everyone will have the opportunity to take a dosha quiz to identify their dosha.\nLearn how to balance one’s dosha using food\, herbs\, and lifestyle shifts. Also\, we will discuss the four elements as well as different temperatures and how they relate to our body and food/herbs. \n\nIn addition\, learn how to work with Ayurveda with the changing seasons for optimal health.
