DESCRIPTION:As we approach Winter\, nature beckons us to slow down\, turn inside\, honor our journeys and deepen our self-care routine so that we can weather well the darker season.\n\nIn this workshop\, we would love to offer you some steadiness & a nurturing practice that will nourish your body\, mind and heart. “Yoga for Self-Care” is designed especially for those moving through times of anxiety\, pain\, loneliness or for whatever you need it to be to heal\, relax and replenish yourself.\nCome settle into a practice with an open mind to cherish and love yourself.\n\nWhen:  December 4th from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm\nCost: $25\n\nThe class format will focus on:\n• Inspirational materials/mantras that can help support you in your personal journey. I invite you to bring inspirational items (books) that speak to you on a deep level to share with me and others.\n• Sweet blend of restorative poses\, breath work and meditation to lead us into the quiet space of our souls.\n• This class is appropriate for all levels of students with instructions given to support caring for yourself in all poses and modifications for postures.\n• Please bring a pen and notebook to write down notes as we discuss the material.\nAnd Remember: Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention\, and it is not a cure-all. If you are experiencing chronic anxiety or depression that interferes with your daily life\, please consult a medical professional.
