SUMMARY:Come Meet Ganesh
DESCRIPTION:Ganesha is currently one of the most popular deities of Hinduism and yoga. He is worshipped in India as well as elsewhere. He appears as a chubby\, happy elephant boy.\nGanesha has many qualities that can help us learn to overcome our challenges. Every feature has a powerful message. Ganesha is also the God of intellect and wisdom\, the destroyer of selfishness and pride and is the remover of the biggest obstacles in our spiritual transformation. All of the sacred symbols of Ganesh can be interpreted in many ways. Above all\, Ganesh and his representations bestow life lessons to help steady the mind and evolve in our spiritual quest.\nThis workshop will review the history\, symbology and stories of Ganesh. We’ll then move into a playful asana flow and close with the Ganesh mantra during savasana.\n \nWhen: Saturday\, August 21st\nTime: 2:00 – 3:30\nCost: $20
